Who would think that a significant part of the desert plants could be naturalized in Central or Western Europe? A large number of species native in hot, desert climates are suitable for outdoor growing in cooler European climates as well.
 
Large part of the northern states of Mexico (Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, Coahuila and Durango) are in the dry desert, while the central states of Mexico (Zacatecas, San Louis Potosí, and Tamaulipas) are in transitional climate. In that region there are 1500 -2000 meters high mountains, where winter months are cold and hard at night and sometimes days have scorching heat. The temperature fluctuation tolerance of plants is amazing. It is not uncommon to find plants among them tolerating temperatures between  -20 ° C to +45 ° C degrees.  Many Yucca, Dasylirion, Agave and Cactus species can be found only in this region.
 
Our company mainly deals with imported Dasylirion and Yucca species.
 
Here are the varieties available for purchase: Yucca rostrata, Yucca torrey, Yucca rigida, Yucca carnerosana, Yucca thompsoniana, Yucca potosina, Yucca filifera, Yucca treculeana, green Yucca rostrata, Yucca faxoniana, Dasylirion longissimum and Dasylirion leiophylum.
 
The plants are arriving directly from our Mexican partners in April of 2010 as the result of two years of persistent organizing work. Procuring directly from the growers we can sell these wonderful plants at more favorable prices to our European customers.
